Miami Eliminated from Playoff Contention Friday, May 24th, 2030 Fans of the Miami Hurricanes will no doubt look back at a handful of games and wonder what could have been, if only a few things had gone differently. For now, the focus turns to next season, as the club was officially eliminated from playoff contention today. This is the club's 5th playoff miss in a row. They last appeared in the postseason in 2025. In the last 10 seasons, the Hurricanes have missed the playoffs 6 times.
