Sooners Come up Short of Playoffs Friday, May 24th, 2030 Heartbreaking. Agonizing. Devastating. They were all words being used by the Oklahoma Sooners after today being mathematically eliminated from the playoffs. "It stings to come this close but come up short," said manager Chris Harris. Oklahoma last appeared in the postseason in 2028. This is their 2nd consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 16 times in their 23-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Sooners have missed the playoffs 8 times. |
