The Math Says - California Out of Playoffs Wednesday, May 22nd, 2030 California Golden Bears catcher Greg Brown said it is a "bitter disappointment" for he and his teammates to miss the playoffs. The remarks came hours after the club was mathematically eliminated from 2030 postseason contention. California last appeared in the postseason in 2023. This is their 7th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 18 times in their 23-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Golden Bears have missed the playoffs 8 times. |
