Golden Gophers Out of Playoff Race Wednesday, May 22nd, 2030 Minnesota Golden Gophers manager Jorge Rivera said his players are "devastated" to have missed the playoffs. Today it became official -- the club has run out of games and was mathematically eliminated from qualifying for a spot in the postseason. Minnesota last appeared in the postseason in 2019. This is their 11th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 19 times in their 23-year history. |
