At Jerry Kindall Field at Frank Sancet Stadium today, the Arizona Wildcats left fielder burned Vanderbilt pitching, going 5-for-6 in a 17-14 Arizona triumph. "When he's on his game," Arizona skipper Darren Bascombe told reporters, "he can probably stroke a base hit blindfolded." Phil Beck grounded out in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, doubled in the 5th, singled in the 7th, hit an RBI single in the 7th and singled in the 9th.
