Year Over for Cardinal Thomas Tuesday, May 14th, 2030 A blow for Jimmy Thomas today -- team doctors confirmed he will miss 5-6 months with a torn rotator cuff. Thomas suffered the injury throwing a pitch. Although officials from the Stanford Cardinal are confident he'll make a full recovery, doubts will persist about Thomas's ability to return fully fit with an injury of this nature. Thomas's record so far this season is 1-and-1 with no saves and a 6.62 ERA. He has given up 17 hits in 17.2 innings with 17 strikeouts. |
