Season-Ending Injury for Joe Cote
Tuesday, May 14th, 2030
The season is finished for Joe Cote of the Baylor Bears. The club announced today that he will forego the rest of the year because of injury. The Bears starting pitcher suffered a torn flexor tendon in his elbow while throwing a pitch in a recent game against the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets. Team doctors said it would take at least 8 months to heal.

In 4 starts this year Cote has crafted a 1-0 record and a 3.33 ERA.
