NCAA Names Top Player of the Week Monday, May 13th, 2030 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the College Baseball, but last week John Allen of the California Golden Bears reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Allen rocked opposing pitching for a .812 average (13-for-16), 4 home runs and 10 RBIs to come away with the award. This season Allen is swinging the bat at a .322 rate with 49 hits in 152 at-bats. To date he has hit 7 home runs, scored 43 runs and driven in 30. |
