David Ortega of the Virginia Tech Hokies had one of those moments when he went 5-for-6 at the plate today in the 7-3 win over the Vanderbilt Commodores at Hawkins Field. "I won't forget this anytime soon, and I don't expect it to happen too often," the 18-year-old center fielder told reporters in the postgame interview. "I'll be happy to just get a hit or two every day. Enough to hang around the league a while longer. Like 10, maybe 15 more years." David Ortega singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Carlos Zamora in the 4th, flied out in the 5th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 9th.
