Season Ends for Ricardo Duárez of Louisiana State

Doctors in Louisiana State said Ricardo Duárez might not play anymore this year. The Tigers reliever suffered a torn ulnar collateral ligament during a game against the Michigan Wolverines and will be out for at least 13 months. Club officials told BNN they do not expect him to return to the team this season.
Thus far this season Duárez has saved 1 games. His won-lost mark is 2 wins and 1 loss with 14 strikeouts in 14.1 innings, along with a 5.65 ERA.
