Turner Pounds NCAA Pitchers This Week Monday, April 29th, 2030 So far in his young career, Bill Turner has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the College Baseball in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 20-year-old Texas Longhorns catcher hit at a torrid .522 clip as he collected 12 hits in 23 at-bats, 5 home runs, 12 RBIs and 10 runs scored. So far on the season Turner is hitting .311 with 10 home runs, 31 RBIs and 21 runs scored. He has 28 hits and played in 21 games. |
