Quintanilla Extends Hit Streak to 20 Games Saturday, April 27th, 2030 Chalk up another one for North Carolina State Wolfpack catcher Ramón Quintanilla. He now has hit in 20 straight games. Quintanilla went 1-for-3 today's game at Husky Ballpark but saw his club defeated 6-4 by the host Washington Huskies. "Playing on the road always makes it harder to get hits and to get wins," Wolfpack manager Gannon Berard said after the game. "We got one of the two, but unfortunately it was the wrong one." Ramón Quintanilla walked in the 2nd, grounded out in the 4th, hit a three-run home run off César Manuel in the 6th, walked in the 7th and grounded out in the 9th. Quintanilla has a .446 average and a .530 on-base percentage for the year. He has picked up 37 hits, 4 home runs and driven in 27 runs. |
