Hits Galore: Garza Drills 5 Hits
Thursday, April 25th, 2030
Getting 5 hits in a game has always been memorable feat in baseball. In the Georgetown's 5-2 win over California today, center fielder Luis Garza was red-hot, scorching them for hit after hit at Evans Diamond.
"To hit the ball consistently well, you have to relax," Garza said afterward. "I was relaxed for the first four hits, but I have to admit, I got a little tight when I realized I had a chance for five. On the last at-bat, I was ready to swing at anything close."
Luis Garza singled in the 1st, hit an RBI triple in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 6th and doubled in the 8th.
So far this season Garza has put up a .376 batting average with 41 hits, 4 home runs and 21 RBIs.
