Hit Streak Over, Wildcats Stop Ryan Friday, April 19th, 2030 Bobby Ryan's 20-game hitting streak was snapped today at Villanova Ballpark at Plymouth. The 20-year-old Xavier Musketeers right fielder failed to get a hit in 4 at-bats in the game against the Villanova Wildcats, but Xavier came out the winner, 4-2. "I don't think the streak was ever a big deal to Bobby," Musketeers manager Toshimichi Saikawa said after the game. "He ain't that type of guy. He just wants to help the team win ballgames." Currently Ryan has 6 home runs and a .375 batting average. |
