Sun Devils Stop Dunn at 21 Tuesday, April 16th, 2030 The hitting streak that Texas Tech right fielder Marshall Dunn had kept going for 21 games was ended today by the Arizona State Sun Devils. Dunn was stymied over 1 at-bat today, but the rest of his team picked him up, taking the 6-2 victory at Dan Law Field. "Hitting streaks come and go," Dunn said. "It did put a little pressure on me. It's hard to be natural at the plate with something like that always in the back of your mind. If it had to end, I'm glad it was in a win." Dunn is hitting .403 in 2030 with 18 RBIs and 5 home runs. |
