Apparently not Michigan Wolverines first baseman Mark Wilson, who missed the team's pre-game session but peppered the visiting Nebraska Cornhuskers for 5 hits come game time. The Wolverines went on to take the 15-12 win. "I was late to the park and I wasn't sure coach was even going to keep me in the lineup," he told the press after the game. "Maybe I should skip BP more often." Mark Wilson grounded out in the 1st, struck out in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 5th, singled in the 7th, hit an RBI single in the 7th, grounded out in the 9th, singled in the 11th and hit a three-run home run off Terry King in the 13th.
