Hits Galore: Ware Drills 5 Hits Tuesday, October 8th, 2030 The Colorado Commanders upended the Saskatoon Smokin' Guns at The Royal Gorge today, thanks in large part to shortstop Lawrence Ware, who had a smashing day with the bat, racking up 5 hits in 6 at-bats. His big effort helped propel the Commanders to a 14-13 victory. Lawrence Ware singled in the 1st, grounded out in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit a two-run home run off Jean-Paul Derrien in the 7th, hit a GRAND SLAM off Jean-Paul Derrien in the 8th, walked in the 8th and hit a solo-shot off Tomás Padilla in the 11th.
