Ware Slams 3 Homers for Commanders
Tuesday, October 8th, 2030
Colorado shortstop Lawrence Ware led the Commanders to a 14-13 triumph over the Saskatoon Smokin' Guns, crushing three home runs.
"He's scary good when he's swinging the bat like that," said Colorado skipper Brad Lewis.
Indeed, Ware put up some "scary good" numbers: three homers, 5 hits in 6 at-bats with 3 runs and 8 RBIs.
"I'm just thinkin' about winning ballgames," Ware said. "When you think about home runs, you very seldom get 'em."
Lawrence Ware singled in the 1st, grounded out in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit a two-run home run off Jean-Paul Derrien in the 7th, hit a GRAND SLAM off Jean-Paul Derrien in the 8th, walked in the 8th and hit a solo-shot off Tomás Padilla in the 11th.
This year Ware has hit at a .302 pace and produced 85 RBIs, 21 home runs and scored 99 runs.
