PIO (24 & Under) Player of the Week, Cunningham of Eau Claire Monday, September 2nd, 2030 River Cunningham burst onto the Pioneer League stage in a big way last week. This promising rookie third baseman for Eau Claire garnered everyone's respect by putting up some remarkable numbers and picking up the Player of the Week trophy. The 23-year-old haunted opposing pitchers hitting .458 (11-for-24) with 3 home runs and 12 RBIs last week. Presently Cunningham is hitting .298 with 9 home runs and 41 RBIs. He has played in 63 games and scored 43 times. |
