PIO (24 & Under) Honors August's #1 Pitcher Sunday, September 1st, 2030 In August, Hoyt Baldwin tore through the Pioneer League like a seasoned veteran -- quite impressive for a player only 22 years old. The young Chula Vista starter posted a 4-0 mark and an ERA of 1.61 to earn the Pitcher of the Month award. In 28 innings he collected 32 strikeouts while limiting the opposition to a .204 average. This season-to-date Baldwin has 9 wins and 6 losses and a 4.51 ERA. |
