Skipper McGuire Dismissed by Detroit Monday, November 25th, 2030 Since he reportedly lost the team weeks ago, it was no shock when the Detroit called a press conference today to announce the firing of manager Jon McGuire. Commenting on his firing, the always candid McGuire said, "I was brought in here to win and just didn't get it done. I have no one but myself to blame."
