RP José Amaya Out Thursday, September 26th, 2030 A blow for José Amaya today -- team doctors confirmed he will miss 4 months with a torn back muscle. Amaya suffered the injury throwing a pitch. Although officials from the Scottsdale Scorpions are confident he'll make a full recovery, doubts will persist about Amaya's ability to return fully fit with an injury of this nature.
