The 21-year-old Savannah Hogs center fielder nabbed Appalachian League Player of the Week honors today after beating up on opposing pitchers all last week. Morales's hot streak featured 11 hits in 24 at-bats, 1 home run, 6 RBIs, 7 runs scored and a .458 average. In 104 games this season Morales is batting .311 with 85 hits and 7 home runs.
