Benjamin Earns August's Top Batter Prize in APL (24 & Under) Sunday, September 1st, 2030 Jerry Benjamin may be much younger than other hitters in the Appalachian League, but he performed like a seasoned veteran in August to win the Batter of the Month award. The 22-year-old Kenosha right fielder hit .309 with 9 home runs, 27 RBIs and 22 runs scored. For the season Benjamin is hitting .297, batted in 57 runs with 15 home runs and 46 runs scored. |
