Rogers Crowned Batter of the Month in September Tuesday, October 1st, 2030 For a rookie just breaking in, Wayne Rogers certainly put together a successful month. It was good enough to win the MWL (24 & Under) Batter of the Month award for September. The 22-year-old center fielder for the Manhatten Meatheads hit .408 with no home runs, 9 RBIs and 23 runs scored. This year Rogers is batting .288 with 178 hits, 2 home runs, 68 RBIs, 80 walks, .374 OBP and has scored 111 runs. |
