Season-Ending Injury for José Gonzáles

The season is ending on a bad note for José Gonzáles, catcher for the Plumstead Eagles. It was announced today that he will miss the rest of the season because of injury. Gonzáles was hurt against the Manhatten Meatheads while running the bases. He suffered a torn posterior cruciate ligament and will be out for at least 6-7 months.

This season Gonzáles has hit at a .329 clip and produced 39 runs batted in, 3 home runs and 34 runs.
