Evanston Stops Guerrero's Hit Streak
Friday, July 12th, 2030
José Guerrero went 0-for-3 at The Den today to break his consecutive-game hitting streak at 27 games. The 20-year-old Lee's Summit center fielder failed to get a hit today in the Tigers 3-2 victory over the Evanston Elitists at The Den.

Guerrero did not make himself available to reporters after the game.

"I think José is a little upset," Lee's Summit manager León Gonzáles said. "He'll get over it."

In this current campaign Guerrero is hitting at a .326 clip with 8 home runs and 45 RBIs.
