Marshall Wins MWL (24 & Under) Player of the Week Prize Monday, July 8th, 2030 So far in his young career, Shane Marshall has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the Midwest League in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 22-year-old Erie Jaxx shortstop hit at a torrid .435 clip as he collected 10 hits in 23 at-bats, 1 home run, 4 RBIs and 6 runs scored. This season Marshall is swinging the bat at a .262 rate with 88 hits in 336 at-bats. To date he has hit 7 home runs, scored 52 runs and driven in 42. |
