Wednesday, August 21st, 2030
The season is ending on a bad note for Jim Snyder, starting pitcher for the Kingston Iguanas. It was announced today that he will miss the rest of the season because of injury. Snyder was hurt against the Penquannock Overrated Jeter while throwing a pitch. He suffered a bone spur in his elbow and will be out for at least 4 months.

Up to now Snyder has compiled an ERA of 6.44 with a 3-1 mark over 7 starts. He has 23 strikeouts in 36.1 innings and has held opponents to a .336 batting average.
