Cooper Slaps 5 Hits Saturday, August 10th, 2030 It was a great day at the plate for Tucker Cooper. For his Wilmington Rebels, the day was not nearly as good. The third baseman collected 5 hits in 6 tries, but his club still came up short in the win column. The Newark Bulldogs snatched the victory, topping the Rebels by a score of 18-14. "Well that wasn't how it was supposed to end," Cooper said later. "I'll just have to do it again and get it right." Tucker Cooper singled in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, grounded out in the 7th, hit a two-run double in the 8th, hit a two-run home run off Graham O'Day in the 9th and walked in the 11th.
