Zavala Slaps 5 Hits Monday, August 5th, 2030 It wasn't just another day at the ballpark for Pedro Zavala today. Zavala went on a tear and cracked hit after hit off Penquannock pitchers. When the dust settled on the diamond at Halesite Grounds, he had a 5-for-6 line and a day he will long remember. And the Wilmington Rebels had a 10-9 victory over the Overrated Jeter. "Yeah, it'll be something nice to tell the grandkids, but it won't get me a hit tomorrow," he joked in the postgame interview. Pedro Zavala hit a solo-shot off Leonard Christensen in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, tripled in the 4th, struck out in the 6th, hit an RBI single in the 8th and hit an RBI single in the 10th.
