This Week's Star Player is Wright Monday, July 29th, 2030 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the Eastern League, but last week Phil Wright of the Penquannock Overrated Jeter reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Wright rocked opposing pitching for a .545 average (12-for-22), no home runs and 7 RBIs to come away with the award. This season Wright has hit at a .326 clip and produced 67 runs batted in, 13 home runs and 55 runs. |
