Reynoso's 24-Game Hit Streak Ends Thursday, September 19th, 2030 All good things must come to an end -- and so it was today for León Reynoso as he saw his 24-game hitting streak end. He went hitless in 4 at-bats at the hands of the West Virginia Power. It wasn't all bad for the 20-year-old center fielder and the Gainesville Guidos however, as they defeated West Virginia 3-1 at The Guido Ghetto. When asked about his hitting streak, a smiling Reynoso laughed and said, "I guess my luck ran out today." Thus far this season Reynoso is hitting .327 with 13 home runs, 51 RBIs and 48 runs scored. He has 87 hits in 266 at-bats and has played in 73 games. |
