Beaumont Right Fielder Picked SNL (28 & Under) Player of the Week Monday, September 2nd, 2030 So far in his young career, Corey MacGregor has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the Southern League in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 25-year-old Beaumont Roughnecks right fielder hit at a torrid .414 clip as he collected 12 hits in 29 at-bats, 3 home runs, 6 RBIs and 10 runs scored. During the current season MacGregor is batting at a .295 clip with 8 home runs and 23 RBIs. He has played in 57 games and scored 43 times. |
