5-for-5 Day for Bell Sunday, August 18th, 2030 It was a sensational day at the plate for Paul Bell as he led the charge to a 21-5 win over the Diablos. The Key West second baseman was pure misery for the Santa Fe pitching staff. He left them shell-shocked with 5 hits in 5 at-bats in an explosive display of hitting. "Bell put the ball into play and he really hit it hard," said Richard Garland, manager for the Diablos, after the game. "When you do that, you've got a good chance to do some damage. And that's what happened. I feel like we threw some good pitches, but he just put some good swings on the ball." Paul Bell tripled in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, was hit by a pitch in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 6th, hit an RBI single in the 7th and singled in the 9th.
