Aliaga Smacks 5 Hits for Ghosts Friday, June 28th, 2030 Esteban Aliaga got the glory and the headlines today, but the Menlo Maniacs left with the win. The Casper center fielder easily handled the Maniacs pitching, going 5-for-6, but his Casper Ghosts came out on the short end of the 13-11 score. Aliaga told BNN reporters in the postgame interview he would happily trade "three or four" of his hits for a win. "Heck, maybe even all of them," he said with a laugh. "Right now, it just seems like one loss in a long season but who knows what it could mean at the end." Esteban Aliaga singled in the 1st, doubled in the 2nd, grounded out in the 4th, singled in the 6th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 9th.
