Best Pitcher Trophy Won by Smashers Fullerton Tuesday, October 15th, 2030 The hottest hurler in the Northwest League this season was Tony Fullerton of the San Diego Smashers. He caught the attention of everybody in the league on his way to winning the 2030 NWL (28 & Under) Outstanding Pitcher Award. Fullerton starred with an impressive 15-10 record in 32 starts. The Smashers ace gave up 219 base hits and struck out 198 in 215 innings with a 4.44 ERA. Luis Costa of the Red Deer Wranglers finished second in voting, while Rafael Souza of the Bismarck Barons finished third. |
