NWL (28 & Under) Best Hitter Trophy Goes to Olvera Sunday, September 1st, 2030 Jorge Olvera has a lot going for him. The Red Deer center fielder just broke into the majors this year and now the Northwest League has just picked him as its top hitter for August. In 26 games last month this outstanding rookie batted .306 with 12 home runs, 31 RBIs and 25 runs scored. This year Olvera has hit at a .275 clip with 113 RBIs, 31 home runs and 106 runs scored. |
