Border Guards, McJannett Blank Bismarck Wednesday, August 28th, 2030 Bret McJannett subdued the Bismarck Barons, 9-0, pitching a 3-hit gem for the Bismark Border Guards at Roger Maris Field. "He was kind of teasing them with his off-speed stuff, and his fastball was moving everywhere," Bismark skipper Alvin Warren said afterward. McJannett registered 4 strikeouts and issued 5 walks in his superb performance. "We just didn't swing the bats very well. Or else he just pitched good, whichever way you want to look at it," said Bismarck manager José Martínez after the defeat.
