Aliaga Punishes NWL (28 & Under) Pitchers This Week Monday, August 19th, 2030 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the Northwest League, but last week Esteban Aliaga of the Casper Ghosts reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Aliaga rocked opposing pitching for a .516 average (16-for-31), no home runs and 7 RBIs to come away with the award. This season Aliaga is hitting .314 with 95 hits, 3 home runs, 45 RBIs, scored 64 runs and played in 68 games. |
