Cantú Selected PCL's Best Player Monday, October 21st, 2030 What a way to finish off the year -- being honored with the 2030 Outstanding Hitter Award in the Pacific Coast League. It had already been a very special season for Houston's Marcos Cantú, but today's announcement really put the icing on his cake. All season long Marcos Cantú gave opposing pitchers fits by hitting .316 as he collected 192 hits, 29 doubles, 5 triples, 48 home runs and 163 RBIs. Francisco Cardenas of the Houston Hammertime finished second in voting, while Stan Bates of the Spokane Trappers finished third. |
