Barrett's 20-Game Hit Streak Ends Wednesday, September 18th, 2030 All good things must come to an end -- and so it was today for Chris Barrett as he saw his 20-game hitting streak end. He went hitless in 4 at-bats at the hands of the Mexico City Cerveceros. It wasn't all bad for the 21-year-old second baseman and the District 9 Prawns however, as they defeated Mexico City 2-0 at The Quarantine. When asked about his hitting streak, a smiling Barrett laughed and said, "I guess my luck ran out today." This season Barrett is batting .333 with 13 home runs. His totals include 54 RBIs and 43 runs scored. |
