Vancouver's Vance Goes Ballistic with 6 Hits Thursday, September 12th, 2030 Quincy Vance exploded for a barrage of base hits today at Red Hot Stadium. The Vancouver center fielder had a field day in the 14-3 triumph over the Albuquerque Isotopes, finishing 6-for-6. "My hitting philosophy is simple," he said. "I focus on just seeing the ball and I try to get a good pitch." Vance must have focused at least 6 times and apparently got some good pitches, too, leading to one of his best days ever with the bat. Quincy Vance singled in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 6th, singled in the 8th and hit an RBI double in the 9th.
