Souza Tags Cowboys for 5 Hits Monday, September 2nd, 2030 All game long, Santa Monica's Jorge Souza was rattling the walls at Jackie Robinson Stadium and banging out base hits against the Calgary Cowboys. When the dust finally settled on the diamond, he had a 5-hit day and the Bruins had a 11-7 victory. Speaking with reporters after his standout performance, the 29-year-old left fielder said, "Get 5 hits, win a ballgame, it's nice. I could get used to this." Jorge Souza singled in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 6th and hit an RBI single in the 8th. For the season Souza is batting .305 with 121 hits and 30 home runs.
