Redwood City's Rodríguez PCL's Best Monday, September 2nd, 2030 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the Pacific Coast League, but last week César Rodríguez of the Redwood City Redwoods reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Rodríguez rocked opposing pitching for a .500 average (13-for-26), 3 home runs and 10 RBIs to come away with the award. Batting .315 to date, Rodríguez has 26 home runs and 93 RBIs. |
