PCL's Top Pitcher in August Is Davis Sunday, September 1st, 2030 The Pitcher of the Month Award has been announced and the Pacific Coast League winner is San Jose hurler, Phil Davis. For his standout performances in August he has been named the league's best pitcher. During the month, Davis excelled with a 2.63 ERA and 4 wins and 1 loss. In 37.2 innings he struck out 25 and gave up 34 hits and 9 walks. To date this season Davis sports a 7-1 mark with a 2.17 ERA in 8 starting assignments. He has held the opposition to a .241 batting average and has 61 strikeouts in 74.2 innings. |
