Spokane's Flores Gets PCL Player of the Week

A battle-tested Lorenzo Flores declared war on opposing pitchers last week, attacking the ball like the well-schooled veteran he is. Today the 33-year-old Spokane first baseman collected the Pacific Coast League Player of the Week Award.

He wrapped up the week with a .579 average, 11 hits in 19 at-bats, 3 home runs, 11 RBIs and 7 runs scored.

Flores is hitting .362 for the season with 19 home runs, 65 RBIs and 75 runs scored. He has 97 hits in 268 at-bats and played in 87 games.
