This Week's Star Player is Chaney Monday, August 12th, 2030 So far in his young career, Weston Chaney has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the Pacific Coast League in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 25-year-old San Jose Missions first baseman hit at a torrid .579 clip as he collected 11 hits in 19 at-bats, 4 home runs, 8 RBIs and 11 runs scored. This season Chaney is batting .309 with 31 home runs. His totals include 85 RBIs and 83 runs scored. |
