Francis's Hit Streak Reaches 25 Games Sunday, August 11th, 2030 The number just keeps getting higher. Gresham second baseman Norm Francis has now extended his hitting string to 25 games. He did it today with 1 hit in 3 at-bats as the Gresham took the 12-2 win over the Texarkana Bears at Mohave County Field. "Who knows how long it will go on?" Texarkana manager Chris Hall said. "He's certainly tough to pitch to right now." Norm Francis singled in the 1st, grounded out in the 2nd, walked in a run in the 3rd, grounded out in the 5th and walked in the 7th.
