Cerveceros End Gordon's Streak Tuesday, July 23rd, 2030 The Cerveceros stopped Dave Gordon's 31-game hitting streak today at TooLegit, but they couldn't stop the Houston Hammertime, falling by the score of 8-5. Gordon didn't get a hit for the first time in weeks, finishing 0-for-3. "It's just as well," Hammertime manager Bill Phillips said. "We couldn't spend the whole season going out of our way not to jinx him." This year Gordon has batted at a .375 pace with 125 hits, 25 home runs, 106 RBIs and scored 71 times. |
